考えなさい

第一ヨハネ
3:1 私たちが神の子どもと呼ばれるために、――事実、いま私たちは神の子どもです。――御父はどんなにすばらしい愛を与えてくださったことでしょう。世が私たちを知らないのは、御父を知らないからです。
3:2 愛する者たち。私たちは、今すでに神の子どもです。後の状態はまだ明らかにされていません。しかし、キリストが現われたなら、私たちはキリストに似た者となることがわかっています。なぜならそのとき、私たちはキリストのありのままの姿を見るからです。
3:3 キリストに対するこの望みをいだく者はみな、キリストが清くあられるように、自分を清くします。
3:4 罪を犯している者はみな、不法を行なっているのです。罪とは律法に逆らうことなのです。
3:5 キリストが現われたのは罪を取り除くためであったことを、あなたがたは知っています。キリストには何の罪もありません。
3:6 だれでもキリストのうちにとどまる者は、罪のうちを歩みません。罪のうちを歩む者はだれも、キリストを見てもいないし、知ってもいないのです。
3:7 子どもたちよ。だれにも惑わされてはいけません。義を行なう者は、キリストが正しくあられるのと同じように正しいのです。
3:8 罪のうちを歩む者は、悪魔から出た者です。悪魔は初めから罪を犯しているからです。神の子が現われたのは、悪魔のしわざを打ちこわすためです。
3:9 だれでも神から生まれた者は、罪のうちを歩みません。なぜなら、神の種がその人のうちにとどまっているからです。その人は神から生まれたので、罪のうちを歩むことができないのです。
3:10 そのことによって、神の子どもと悪魔の子どもとの区別がはっきりします。義を行なわない者はだれも、神から出た者ではありません。兄弟を愛さない者もそうです。
人間と動物の違いは、いったい何なのでしょうか。いちばんの違いは、人間は神意識を持っているのです。動物には、神意識がない。困ったとしても祈ろうとしない。人間は、神意識を持っているだけではなく、考える能力も持っています。ですから、聖書の中で、「覚えなさい、考えなさい」とよく出てくることばです。

3:1 See what kind of love the Father has given us: We are called God’s children―and that is what we are! For this reason the world does not recognize us, because it did not recognize him, either.
3:2 Dear friends, we are now God’s children, but what we will be like has not been revealed yet. We know that when the Messiah is revealed, we will be like him, because we will see him as he is.
3:3 And everyone who has this hope based on him keeps himself pure, just as the Messiah is pure.
3:4 Everyone who keeps living in sin also practices disobedience. In fact, sin is disobedience.
3:5 You know that the Messiah was revealed to take away sins, and there is not any sin in him.
3:6 No one who remains in union with him keeps on sinning. The one who keeps on sinning hasn’t seen him or known him.
3:7 Little children, don’t let anyone deceive you. The person who practices righteousness is righteous, just as the Messiah is righteous.
3:8 The person who practices sin belongs to the evil one, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason that the Son of God was revealed was to destroy what the devil has been doing.
3:9 No one who has been born from God practices sin, because God’s seed abides in him. Indeed, he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born from God.
3:10 This is how God’s children and the devil’s children are distinguished. No person who fails to practice righteousness and to love his brother is from God.

What is the difference between humans and animals? The most significant difference is that humans have awareness of God. Animals do not have an idea of divinity. They don't pray when they are in trouble. We, however, not only have the consciousness of divine presence, but are also given the ability to contemplate. That is why in the Bible, men are repeatedly commanded to remember, to think. Think!

第二コリント
8:9 あなたがたは、私たちの主イエス・キリストの恵みを知っています。すなわち、主は富んでおられたのに、あなたがたのために貧しくなられました。それは、あなたがたが、キリストの貧しさによって富む者となるためです。
今日、いっしょに考えてみたい題名とは、みじめである我々と満ち満ちている主についてです。主を知れば知るほど自分はもうだめとしか言えないのではないでしょうか？けれども、イエス様は変わっておられる方ですから、ダメな者を捨てません。へりくだれば、主は恵んでくださり、祝福してくださり、用いてくださるのです。

2 Corinthians
8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah. Although he was rich, for your sakes he became poor, so that you, through his poverty, might become rich.
Today, I would like to have a discussion with you on the subject; “We are so poor while the Lord is rich in all respects.” As we know the Lord more and more, we are compelled to realize that we are hopeless. However, Jesus is so unique that he never forsakes anyone no matter how useless they are. When we humble ourselves, the Lord gives us, blesses us and uses us.
There are many prayers recorded in the Bible. Some are utterly wrong. Peter, the disciple of Jesus recited one such wrong prayer. There is no way for such prayers to be heard. Peter said, “Leave me, Lord! I am a sinful man!” The Lord never left him. He made him his disciple and used him to great extent.

1:9 もし、私たちが自分の罪を言い表わすなら、神は真実で正しい方ですから、その罪を赦し、すべての悪から私たちをきよめてくださいます。
時々、いろいろな人々から、いろいろなことを聞くのですけれど、答えられないことが多い。正しい答えは、祈りましょうよ。祈ると必ず、主は生きておられるから、答えてくださる。もちろん、『困った時、祈りなさい』ではない。絶えず、結局、いつも祈りなさい。これは主の提案ではなくて、主ご自身の命令、そのものです。

1:9 If we make it our habit to confess our sins, in his faithful righteousness he forgives us for those sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
A lot of people come to ask for my advice on various matters in their lives, but very often I can't give them easy solutions. The best answer I can give is; “why don't we pray?” When we pray, the Lord will never fail to answer, because He is alive. He does not ask us to pray only when we are in trouble, but to keep praying all the time. After all, "never stop praying" is not a suggestion from the Lord;rather, it is His command. Each local assembly has to be a gathering for prayers. It is the intention of the Lord. Nothing is more important than prayers. In addition, nothing is as indispensable as prayers.

4:13 眠った人々のことについては、兄弟たち、あなたがたに知らないでいてもらいたくありません。あなたがたが他の望みのない人々のように悲しみに沈むことのないためです。
4:14 私たちはイエスが死んで復活されたことを信じています。それならば、神はまたそのように、イエスにあって眠った人々をイエスといっしょに連れて来られるはずです。
4:15 私たちは主のみことばのとおりに言いますが、主が再び来られるときまで生き残っている私たちが、死んでいる人々に優先するようなことは決してありません。
4:16 主は、号令と、御使いのかしらの声と、神のラッパの響きのうちに、ご自身天から下って来られます。それからキリストにある死者が、まず初めによみがえり、
4:17 次に、生き残っている私たちが、たちまち彼らといっしょに雲の中に一挙に引き上げられ、空中で主と会うのです。このようにして、私たちは、いつまでも主とともにいることになります。
4:18 こういうわけですから、このことばをもって互いに慰め合いなさい。
ちょっと、寂しかった。けども、今日はまた、うれしい。一緒になって、御名を褒めたたえることができるのは、本当に、すばらしい恵みなのではないでしょうか。
