Ephesians
2:13 But now, in union with the Messiah Jesus, you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah.
2:14 For it is he who is our peace. Through his mortality he made both groups one by tearing down the wall of hostility that divided them.
2:15 He rendered the Law inoperative, along with its commandments and regulations, thus creating in himself one new humanity from the two, thereby making peace,
2:16 and reconciling both groups to God in one body through the cross, on which he eliminated the hostility.

The verses we just read, mention the “blessing of having been brought near.” I suppose that the true blessing lies in the peace and security of the people. Mr. Kenji Goto acted for this purpose. He sought peace and security, but he could not get it because he was captured and murdered by the Islamic State. This happened because this present world is ruled by the Devil. We cannot expect to obtain true peace and security in this world. It simply makes our lives much more difficult. However, when we think of what Jesus has accomplished for us, it makes us feel blessed. Our lives cannot be terminated by anything, even by death. This belief makes all believers of Jesus live constructive lives in peace. No matter how hard the reality that lies in front of their eyes,they do not need to worry at all. Of course, there is one thing they should always keep in mind: unless they have peace and security in their own minds, it is impossible to build a world of peace and security no matter how hard they strive; it is an empty and meaningless effort. After all, true peace and security are matters that relate to personal characteristics.

17:3 その永遠のいのちとは、彼らが唯一のまことの神であるあなたと、あなたの遣わされたイエス・キリストとを知ることです。

今日のテーマは何ですか・・・・ときかれた時、「天国で会いましょう」と言った時、輝いた顔もあったのです。「天国で会いましょう。」もうちょっとね。イエス様は、迎えに来られると考えると、本当にうれしい。

ドイツのある出版社の息子が、テレビ局の人からきかれたのです。テレビ局とは、結局、おもしろいことを宣伝したいのではないかと思いますけども、彼は何をきかれたかと言いますと、「あなたにとって、いちばん大きなショックになるのは、いったい何でしょうかね。癌になることですか？全財産をいっぺんに失くすことなのでしょうか？あるいは、一生涯車いすの上で生活するの」と聞かれた時、答えは、「もし、神がおられれば、それこそ、考えられないほど恐ろしいことです」と、言ったのです。

9:22 それで、律法によれば、すべてのものは血によってきよめられる、と言ってよいでしょう。また、血を注ぎ出すことがなければ、罪の赦しはないのです。

今、兄弟はソロモンについて話してくださいました。私は、彼についての一文章を、非常に好きになってしまった。聖書の言葉です、『ソロモンは主を愛した。』我々、一人ひとりについて、同じことを言えれば、ありがたいでしょうか。愛しているよと、思うかもしれないけど、本当かどうかが、問題なのではないでしょうか。

我々人間は、イエス様がどれほど大きな犠牲を捧げられたかと言うことを、死んで、主の栄光を目の前に拝する時、初めて、この僅か（片鱗）を知ることができるのではないでしょうか。ですから、多くの人々は、天国へ行くとゆっくりできる、休むことができると思っている。とんでもないはなし。今よりも、忙しい。どうしてあるか？主を拝みたい、礼拝したい気持ちでいっぱいです。イエス様がどういう犠牲を払ったのか、今はピンとこないし、考えられない。

4:13 眠った人々のことについては、兄弟たち、あなたがたに知らないでいてもらいたくありません。あなたがたが他の望みのない人々のように悲しみに沈むことのないためです。

4:14 私たちはイエスが死んで復活されたことを信じています。それならば、神はまたそのように、イエスにあって眠った人々をイエスといっしょに連れて来られるはずです。

4:15 私たちは主のみことばのとおりに言いますが、主が再び来られるときまで生き残っている私たちが、死んでいる人々に優先するようなことは決してありません。

4:16 主は、号令と、御使いのかしらの声と、神のラッパの響きのうちに、ご自身天から下って来られます。それからキリストにある死者が、まず初めによみがえり、

4:17 次に、生き残っている私たちが、たちまち彼らといっしょに雲の中に一挙に引き上げられ、空中で主と会うのです。このようにして、私たちは、いつまでも主とともにいることになります。

4:18 こういうわけですから、このことばをもって互いに慰め合いなさい。

1 Thessalonians

4:13 But we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, about those who have died, so that you may not grieve like other people who have no hope.

4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so through Jesus God will bring those who have died with him.

4:15 For we declare to you what the Lord has told us to say: We who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have died.

4:16 With a shout of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of God’s trumpet, the Lord himself will come down from heaven, and the dead who belong to the Messiah will rise first.

4:17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

4:18 So then, encourage one another with these words.

16:15 アロンは民のための罪のためのいけにえのやぎをほふり、その血を垂れ幕の内側に持ってはいり、あの雄牛の血にしたようにこの血にもして、それを『贖いのふた』の上と『贖いのふた』の前に振りかける。

16:16 彼はイスラエル人の汚れと、そのそむき、すなわちそのすべての罪のために、聖所の贖いをする。彼らの汚れの中に彼らとともにある会見の天幕にも、このようにしなければならない。

16:17 彼が贖いをするために聖所にはいって、再び出て来るまで、だれも会見の天幕の中にいてはならない。彼は自分と、自分の家族、それにイスラエルの全集会のために贖いをする。

17:11 なぜなら、肉のいのちは血の中にあるからである。わたしはあなたがたのいのちを祭壇の上で贖うために、これをあなたがたに与えた。いのちとして贖いをするのは血である。

あと二つの言葉を、お読みしたいと思います。マルコ伝の中のいちばん大切な言葉なのではないかと思います。
