13:32 どんな種よりも小さいのですが、生長すると、どの野菜よりも大きくなり、空の鳥が来て、その枝に巣を作るほどの木になります。」

13:33 イエスは、また別のたとえを話された。「天の御国は、パン種のようなものです。女が、パン種を取って、三サトンの粉の中に入れると、全体がふくらんで来ます。」

13:34 イエスは、これらのことをみな、たとえで群衆に話され、たとえを使わずには何もお話しにならなかった。

13:35 それは、預言者を通して言われた事が成就するためであった。「わたしはたとえ話をもって口を開き、世の初めから隠されていることどもを物語ろう。」

13:31 He presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom from heaven is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in his field.
13:32 Although it is the smallest of all seeds, when it is fully grown it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, and the birds in the sky come and nest in its branches.”
13:33 He told them another parable: “The kingdom from heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with three measures of flour until all of it was leavened.”
13:34 Jesus told the crowds all these things in parables. He did not tell them anything without using a parable.
13:35 This was to fulfill what was declared by the prophet when he said, “I will open my mouth to speak in parables. I will declare what has been hidden since the creation of the world.”

4:29 実が熟すると、人はすぐにかまを入れます。収穫の時が来たからです。」

このあいだ、私たちは、「信仰生活の始まり」について考えたのですけど、今日から、「信仰生活の成長」について、一緒に考えたいと思います。

4:27 He sleeps and gets up night and day while the seeds sprout and grow, although he doesn’t know how.

4:28 The ground produces grain by itself, first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head.

4:29 But when the grain is ripe, he immediately starts cutting with his sickle because the harvest time has come.”

In the previous meeting, we learned about the “beginning of our life of faith.” Today, I would like to discuss with you the “growth of our life of faith.” Let us read the verse 26 again:

4:2 イエスはたとえによって多くのことを教えられた。その教えの中でこう言われた。

4:3 「よく聞きなさい。種を蒔く人が種蒔きに出かけた。

4:4 蒔いているとき、種が道ばたに落ちた。すると、鳥が来て食べてしまった。

4:5 また、別の種が土の薄い岩地に落ちた。土が深くなかったので、すぐに芽を出した。

4:6 しかし日が上ると、焼けて、根がないために枯れてしまった。

4:7 また、別の種がいばらの中に落ちた。ところが、いばらが伸びて、それをふさいでしまったので、実を結ばなかった。

4:8 また、別の種が良い地に落ちた。すると芽ばえ、育って、実を結び、三十倍、六十倍、百倍になった。」

4:9 そしてイエスは言われた。「聞く耳のある者は聞きなさい。」

4:10 さて、イエスだけになったとき、いつもつき従っている人たちが、十二弟子とともに、これらのたとえのことを尋ねた。

4:1 Then Jesus began to teach again beside the sea. Such a large crowd gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while the entire crowd remained beside the sea on the shore.

4:2 He began teaching them many things in parables. While he was teaching them he said,

4:3 “Listen! A farmer went out to sow.

4:4 As he was sowing, some seeds fell along the path, and birds came and ate them up.

4:5 Others fell on stony ground, where they did not have a lot of soil. They sprouted at once because the soil wasn’t deep.

4:6 But when the sun came up, they were scorched. Since they did not have any roots, they dried up.

4:7 Others fell among thorn bushes, and the thorn bushes came up and choked them out, and they did not produce anything.

4:8 But others fell on good soil and produced a crop. They grew up, increased in size, and produced 30, 60, or 100 times what was sown.”

4:9 He added, “Let the person who has ears to hear, listen!”

4:10 When he was alone with the Twelve and those around him, they began to ask him about the parables.
